My first "fishing-on-the-other-side-of-the-boat" experience happened about a decade and a half ago. That is when I joined the world of Care Ministry in the clinical setting of Hospice. My learning curve was steep!!! What I learned improved all of my life and ministry -- inside and outside the Church.

Now I'm feeling like another "fishing-on-the-other-side-of-the-boat" experience is coming.

Did you realize there were two miraculous catches in the Bible? The second had bigger fish than the first -- 153. The second miraculous catch was Jesus' last miracle of his earthly ministry and took place shortly before his ascension. It confirmed the first miraculous catch was not a fluke. It reinstated Peter, with Jesus' forgiveness, to full fellowship and service.  It was the prelude to the new Church era soon to come.

2024 will be the third year of Best Care Ministry. It may be the year of another miraculous catch with many more people experiencing a "fishing-on-the-other-side-of-the-boat" experience. Some of you have been with me for a long time. Welcome to all who are just getting acquainted.

During these past two years, in a new chapter of my life and ministry, free from a full-time ministry staff position, I have been distilling my  chaplain and parish experiences and training into content that can be caught and taught.

Most of us care emotionally, and usually with great earnestness.  But too often we don't know how to care effectively and our actions are sincerely wrong.

So in year three, it is time to grow Best Care Ministry to show more people how to care effectively so many people and ministries will have a "fishing-on-the-other-side-of-the-boat" experience in 2024.

In 2024, much of the content that has been written and spoken will be packaged into a user-friendly online format so you can experience the benefits of caring effectively and have useable tools handy to train those in your ministry. Then we will offer the best care with results that are beyond measure. Soon your culture will be impacted and a new era will be born.

• $25 per month (120 donors will cover a whole year of general operating expenses)
• $420 for a month of podcasts (12 donors will cover a year of producing the Who Cares? podcast.)
• $500 a month to reach more through social media (12 donors will help us reach thousands for an entire year).
• $5,000 to produce a Welcome to the Big Leagues Webcast (This is from Dan’s book, Welcome to the Big Leagues, the prequel to Best Care Ministry. A revamped website is included.)             
• $24,000 to Produce The 7 Essentials Video Training Series (5 donations near $5000 will help us educate many ministries about care ministry and essential training skills for an immeasurable [Eph. 3:20] impact.)
• $36,000 To establish 3 Cities with Care Ministry teams. We will continue using the same methodology that I used when I connected with over 1000 people in Care Ministry, primarily in the Denver area. (For $12,000, per city, we will support a pastor/chaplain/worker in care ministry, reach 144 new ministries by face-to-face visits and build a Care Ministry team in that city that will support care ministry workers while caring for many. Three teams is the goal for 2024, but it is only a start. More funds = more locations. Eventually we will be everywhere!)     

When we care like God cares, and people experience God's love, we will see results beyond anything we have seen before. I can't wait to see what happens!
